National Printing Converters (NPC) was started in 1963 by Bob Buckley and Jerry Silver in a small storefront in Los Angeles, CA. Originally supplying printed tape and pressure sensitive labels to the Aerospace Industry, they had the foresight to recognize the opportunity the computer age was going to unfold. We were one of the first companies to supply custom labels and tags with pin-feed holes to this fast growing market. By the late 60's and early 70's, NPC was one of the leading suppliers of custom adhesive labels to the computer printer market.
To meet this growing demand, in 1972, NPC expanded by opening a second manufacturing facility in Indiana. Along with the new facility, NPC began adhesive coating our own pressure sensitive materials. This new capability enabled us to develop unique products, including label materials to process through the first breed of high-speed laser printers in the 1980's. Today, NPC continues to provide our customers with unique labels products to meet their changing and expanding needs. We have built a reputation for technical expertise, friendly service, quick response and flexible production scheduling.
